Phonak Naida Lumity UP Stopped working!

Does anyone have any experience with Phonak Naida UP battery powered not working, just the left one?

It seems like not battery related as I’ve changed the batteries, but still no luck.

The right works as normal though.

Try to swap the ear hooks between the aids. If you have the hooks with the white damper inside. Therefore you can find out if the damper blocks the sound output to the ear

Have you used a blower to blow air into the area near the hook. Moisture might gather near the sound inlet. Maybe used a hair dryer to dry it - warm air blowing at the ’s

Yes, I’ve replaced the 675 batterie, and cleaned the hearing aid in the dryer, including cleaning the tube and the hook, still not working.

Unfortunately @Baltazard, it would appear to be goosed… The next question would be where you bought them? I believe Boots Hearing Care will replace for the lifetime of the Aids? If I recall correctly, did you not get those aids via an online seller? They might replace, they might not… Good luck, cheers Kev.

Yes, indeed, I got them from an online reseller here in the UK.

I thought I will try here before getting in touch with them.

Fortunately, they are under warranty.

I do have P90s as a back up, so it isnt bad at the moment.

Tis almost a nonnegotiable essential at holiday time, but unfortunately many folks, don’t have that added luxury, I fortunately do, and I am very grateful for this, it gives me peace of mind… Good Luck, with the warranty, cheers Kev :wink:

Absolutely essential to have a backup, I did get one from ebay too just in case, few years back.

I often have issues with tubing, giving the impression they aren’t working. I then unscrew the anchor, and can hear whistling when putting the aid new my ear, so I know the hearing aid is fine. I’m sure you know to keep batteries apart from each other?

Can’t think of anything else to check
