What was dissatisfying? Only one active Bluetooth connection with Marvel compared to 2 with Paradise?
Indeed. Not only 1 active Bluetooth connection but also only 2 paired devices. With Paradise I have paired my work phone, my personal phone, my work laptop, 3 personal laptops, a TV, and I don’t need to turn off the phone bluetooth to be using other device, usually the laptop.
@JordanK, we have interesting case of using almost full potential of Bluetooth in Phonak HAs, which I appreciate
I have zero issues but I am very careful to turn off devices when I am not using them. That is how you avoid issues. Never keep more than two devices turned on.
Have you ever had issues with Bluetooth stability?
Actually, I’ve had the 8 out of 8. I also had paired a radio handset at work, but this year we have changed the radios and the new one refuses to pair with the (probably because I cannot input a PIN)
When I’m several meters away and there is a wall in the path to the transmitter device, or when my phone is in my back trouser pocket, the sound becomes choppy.
Some of the computers act up when they are transmitting and they get interrupted by the phone (which has higher priority), when the phone transmission ends they may not be able to resume transmission requiring a quick disconnection-reconnection.
Otherwise I do not have stability problems with bluetooth and I do not care about turning off devices, unless I need to change one of the active connections (i.e. from one phone to a computer).
