So 2026 should be the year Phonak comes out with the Naida Infinio Sphere. If that does happen, how many of you think the aid will be offered with a rechargeable battery? The Naida power hearing aid brand has a very long history, using 675 disposable batteries. I’m in the camp that’s willing to sacrifice battery life to keep Naida using the 675 battery. Presently, I’m getting 10-plus-days before changing batteries. If Phonak can build the Naida Infinio Sphere using a 675 battery, I’m willing drop down to say 5 days of battery life. Maybe Phonak can up that number to 6, or 7 days, but battery power usage will be tricky when Spheres are set in background noise mode.
