I have never seen a detailed hardware breakdown of a Costco Brand Hearing Aid vs the parent brand sold under another brand name, with identical hardware spec sheets. Thus I can’t confirm what’s on the inside is identical.

Apple is famous for using at least two different vendor and manufacturing supply chains for their products, in different countries. I have seen first hand, by owning identical models of same item, the differences in quality and performance. So you have two different actual manufacture’s of the same item for Apple. Both branded Apple and are sold as supposed to be indentical, but ‘they"‘ are Not identical.

I do “believe” Resound is far more likely to be the same guts inside, since the same software fits Jabra and Resound. Whereas Oticon uses different GUI at least on Philips for fitting, and Philips software appears to have a few less features. Don’t know whether the same core code is running behind the Oticon and Philips GUI’s.

Forgive me for taking an engineer’s perspective on this subject, but that is why I “believe” what I “believe”.

What exactly is my type for wanting proof to confirm your claims of what is inside and behind the scenes. You build to a specification, and different hardware and software can meet the same Functional and Physcial Configuration.
