I did accomplish that uninstalling My Phonak etc. and suggestion have been helpful thanks.
It has been such a stressful overwhelming time so I am going to try to CHILL tonight and hopefully reset my state of mind in need of and in search of peace for a change.
But now a new UNWELCOME MYSTERY. Everything as it was last night on my has changed as if by some slimeball interfering entity.
I had a busy day today doing outside wet and/or dirty work in garden so I did not put my hearing aids in this morning.
I finished my outdoor work late and exhausted but was looking forward to a nice hot shower to clean up.
After shower i put hearing aids in same as always and expected them to work and help me relax unwind with whatever caught my interest on You Tube. Between the time I put in hearing aids and got halfway to my TV ROOM when all of a sudden I was Blasted with music (not the kind Id select myself). I was totally unprepared because Ive made no changes since last evening.
When I opened up phonak ap I shouldve paid more attention to specifics but it informed i was connected to music and mentioned something I think about using Discover or Discovery and proceeded to tell me some How To info. Whatever it was I chose to FORGET whatever it was and in the aftermath I find myself disconnected from my two hearing aids. NO RELAXING I guess - have to get HAs repaired. I think it initially showed the right one connected but not the left and I must have done something to lose the right one also.
So I’m going to try to use the directions here that got me connected and HOPE I succeed because this is not how I pictured spending my evening.
CAN ANYWAY hazard a guess what happened to change my hearing aid settings and add the horrific annoying music. Where did it come from? I sort of suspect it has something to do with which has (UNINVITED) taken up residence on my phone and computer.
I used previous instructions and OH HAPPY DAY everything seems to be A-OK. Someday Im going to try to connect/pair my Roger Direct but not now Worn Out and just wanna chill out and have long overdue lunch/dinner.
My two cents I LIKE THIS NEW UPDATED MY PHONAK APP much better. More user friendly. Hope Im not jinxing myself saying that!
Thanks all for before and yet again this time around.
I WOULD STILL APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS about how this mystery music connection and unpairing happened. I HOPE IT WAS A ONE-TIME non repeating event.
I had cause to do all these steps again but now when I make or receive a phone call the call does not go thru hearing aids so I can’t hear so I select speaker and then I can hear conversation but it echoes a lot and sounds and words are not clear and easy to understand.
MY QUESTION NOW IS How do I set up to have calls automatically go thru hearing aids?
HELP would be greatly appreciated as I have lots of calls to make today and it’s difficult to hear thru speaker instead of thru hearing aids?
What is or are le Bluetooth unsupported devices? I guess I’m not smart enough to do what’s needed to have properly functioning H.A.s.
Is the phone unsupported?. Never heard of this in 3 to 4 years wearing h.a.s Phone is only thing relatively new.
I wish I could get an old phone which you pick up phone handset and get a dialtone then dial I numbers, somebody answers and you and whoever you called haveca conversation. That would be heavenly.
One problem after another. Why? How do the settings continually get continually changed?
Depending on your phone model and how your aids are set up, tapping the aids will start and stop different functions on your phone and the aid: even if you accidentally tap them.
Reboot the Aids and get the phone to look at the Bluetooth devices. You need to make the connection either R_Phonak or L_Phonak within 3 minutes of the reboot.
In the MyPhonak App, after pairing your aids with the app, have you looked in the DEVICES tab, then scrolled down to BLUETOOTH STREAMING? I have an iPhone and the Costco Sennheiser Sonite Rise equivalent of Phonak Infinios and there’s a simple switch there to enable Bluetooth Streaming. Works seamlessly for me.
