Hi everyone,
I’m a Phonak Audéo Sphere i90 user (ERA chip) with a 70dB drop in the mid-to-high frequencies. I am currently using the Phonak Target 11.0 software with my audiologist.
I have two major issues with the default Bluetooth streaming:
The “Media via Bluetooth” program is “fixed” (greyed out) in the MyPhonak app, so I cannot adjust the EQ or Noise Reduction while listening to music (Tidal).
There is a constant hissing/static noise during streaming and phone calls, which is very distracting.
My questions for the experts here:
Is there a specific toggle in Target 11.0 to enable “User Preference Tuning” for the streaming programs so they become adjustable in the app?
Is it possible to create a manual “Music Streaming” program that is NOT the default automatic one, so we can fine-tune the G50/G80 curves and the TK (Threshold Kneepoint) to eliminate the hiss?
My audiologist says streaming adjustments are “locked” or limited. Is there a workaround in the Program Manager or Global Tuning to give me more control over the streaming audio quality?
I am using custom Swiss acrylic molds, so the physical fit is perfect, but the software side is frustrating.
Any advice from -ers or Audiologists familiar with the new Infinio/Sphere platform would be greatly appreciated!
