However the Resound One surefit3 receiver also looks the same but will not work with the Resound Omnia.

Not true. The Resound One surefit3 will NOT work with the Resound Omnia. I know this because I tried one. The part numbers are different.

I have had Omnias and Nexia and vivia and jabra 20 and jabra 30 and they all use the same receivers !!!

The two look identical and attach to the using the same connector.
When I connect a Resound One receiver to a Resound Omnia it does not produce any sound and the fitting software does not recognize that any receiver is connected to the HA.
