Jabra Enhance Pro support for Android updates

My Enhance Pro 30 hearing aids stopped connecting to my Galaxy s25+. Costco was stumped until the Jabra support tech told them that when the phone updated to Android 16, it was not yet supported. I was on the verge of returning the hearing aids, when Jabra made the update and my connectivity came back (several weeks later). Is this a recurring problem with Jabra whenever there is an Android update, and is anyone aware of way to find out Jabra’s update schedule, so that one can defer the Android update until Jabra can connect?

Fishy response, IMO. I have a Pixel 9 running Android 16 and Pro 30 loaners without a problem. Obviously Pixel is different from S25+, but probably not that different. The compat list says S25+, not S25+ with a specific set of Android releases.

I’d report the problem to Samsung and ask for help from them. They may have a fix.

That sounds suspicious. I updated to Android 16 on a Pixel 7a phone last June and experienced no problem connecting my EP 10 hearing aids.

When it comes to Bluetooth connections there are a lot of players in the mix. Sometimes getting the hardware, its firmware and the software to all play nicely together can be a challenge. What you experienced might be a 1X thing. I wouldn’t worry about it too much if everything is working OK.

OTOH, it took 6 months for Google to figure out that the Bluetooth connection on my Pixel 7 Pro didn’t work properly with my Enhance Pro 30’s. It was a firmware issue that could not be updated. Changing phone models was a game changer for me.

go into the accessibility hearing aid support and unpair your aids and repair thru the app and follow the instructions sometimes the android os keeps it paired but it won’t connect but first unpair and reboot the phone before pairing I have a ultra 25 on the latest os and works fine in matter a fact they updated the aid firmware which fixed the audio quality on the mic with bluetooth calls

You were fortunate. I wonder if the XL has differences in hardware or firmware from the regular pro?
