During my appointment today at Costco I asked him when the new Jaba’s were coming out. They got the Pro 30 last September 2025 and the 9050 the year before. Both seem likely for update but no confirmation yet.
When I return home I got an email from Jaba with a $150 off code for the new M2 & M3 model.
Should I buy from Jaba directly and use their audiologist remote service or hope Costco gets the M3 since it is 67 which is waterproof. Also wondering how I could get custom dome made with the on line order

I think any Jabra product costco are selling would also have an IP67 rating. Also, this doesn’t mean the aid is waterproof, just that it’ll survive getting wet for a specific length of time down to a specific depth. It isn’t recommended that you purposely get the devices wet as water ingress will always damage the attached speakers which don’t have an rating.

I would always recommend in person services over online only support. There are so many things key to a successful fitting that cannot be done online.

It would be better to go through Costco if is important to you, otherwise online is perfectly fine, even better you can these, remember Jabra are simply rebranded ReSound models,

Those models are over the counter aids that are only for mild to moderate loss.

The M3 costs $2000, which is more than the prescription aids + bundled services + hearing test + fitting + loss & damage coverage + ……sold at Costco.

Those Jabras at $2000 never made much sense to me . You can probably get a low tech prescription , maybe not the most modern one, from an audiology office , for about the same amount of money.

Not aids , these are replacing the Jaba 700 prescription aids. I called Jaba and spoke with them about 68 rating and it is considered water resistant to 3 meter. Also they scheduled appointment with audiologist for September 1 to discuss if I can get high power custom receiver made from my past impressions. Your agent is incorrect, Costco are the only place that sells only premium models, ask your “agent” to specify which features sold at Costco are lacking( besides Costco refusal to add tinnitus controller)

What you said is not correct.

simply means “self-fitted” - no prescription needed for purchase.

The only prescription Jabras in the US are the Costco’s Jabra Enhance Pros

You can buy the Jabra Enhance 700 on Amazon and the M3 directly from Jabra without a prescription.

Thanks for your input. I don’t recall costco doing in a long time. One drawback to all audiology practices is turnover of staff. Myself I have worked with many levels of staff at my Costco store. I have discovered during adjournment appointments that my receiver weren’t on the correct or settings where not correct.

I’m not in a rush to buy till they work out the start up issues

They look like Vivia clones, not Sensia (the newest). I thought is part of Costco's protocol; if so and if they didn't do it, they violated policy. I read on this forum that the top level of Jabra are Vivia 7s. Maybe the M3 is a Sensia, but whether 5, 7, or 9, who knows?
