How about a Sandbox category for experimentation? Better, how about giving each user a private Sandbox that's only seen by them?

Wondering if a test user for you to experiment with that doesn’t have your permissions might give you a different view?

The endless loop of hitt8ng back and having it repaint the screen is solved except for likes. If I hit n likes as I go along(say, three), I have to hit n+1 to really go back.

OK guys, check it out. The new changes are now live. I've made updates to the home page to hopefully solve all your problems, notifications now update properly when you click on them, and I think I solved the weird like button issue too.
Also, you can now add hearing aids, accessories, and other devices to your profile to show people what you're using.

I tweaked the homepage slightly to add a sidebar and put the feed front and center. I hope this works for everyone! If anyone misses those themes/brands from the home page, you can still find them here: https://forum.hearingtracker.com/discovery

I’m seeing inconsistent bolding of topics with new posts in Latest list. Some posts even have a count badge but aren’t bolded.

I had problems finding a way to enter my as a new user, but now I see I need a first post to do that. Click the profile icon in the post.

Hi there. For consistency, I made it so that anytime you've visited a thread it's grayed out. But the badge just lets you know that there are still posts that you haven't read yet.

You’ve done an excellent job. I apologize for a comment made on a post I started.
Hey Dave, really don't sweat it. One user made a rude comment that I'll remember for a while, but that wasn't you! Also, thanks for the kind words.

I will fix that.

@AbramBaileyAuD inquired in an earlier thread about a font size modification option. Look at this site on mobile in comparison to other sites. The font here is larger and there are many spacing features (line spacing, spacing around buttons, etc). Perhaps an option for a more compact view and font size modifier would help. Some buttons could be smaller without hurting usability for many. One can always zoom though the frames make that messier.
That said, the progress is good. For example the HearingTracker header and Hearing Aid Forum header now take up about third of the screen on mobile down from at least half. Could those items be more space efficient?
Again on mobile, how come the jump to top and jump to bottom buttons are not always available? Some threads do not show these. If one is composing a draft, these also seem to be not available.
Also, I sometimes get a site error: "Could not post. Please try again."

I suspect you may have a zoom feature on your phone. Here's mine with no zoom active:
So the header should be far less than a third of your viewport. Can you send a screenshot from your phone so I can see what we're dealing with here.
The jump up/down buttons show when you start scrolling up or down, respectively, and then linger for a while to give you a chance to tap them before they fade to give you more reading real estate.
I'm looking into "could not post" now...
