KS 10.0 Fitted Program Issue

Having an odd issue with my new KS 10’s. My Costco specialist had made 2 fitted programs for Music/TV and Noise when I got my aids just over a week ago. So there were only 3 fitted modes including Automatic. All of a sudden just in the last couple days the app shows 25+ fitted apps, most are duplicates of the same thing. PartnerMic + Mic, TV Connector + Mic1&2, Bluetooth Streaming + Mic 1&2 multiple times, Phone call + Mic 1&2 multiple times, Roger Direct + Mic. Its just crazy! I can’t delete them because they are fitted, not custom settings I saved myself. (Which I haven’t even done) Anybody else have this happen? I deleted the aids and re-paired, plus uninstalled the Easy Line app and reinstalled with no help.

I just received the update on Google Play. You can now save up to 10 programs, including custom ones. However, only 4 total apps can be saved directly to the via the app. Then you can use the buttons on the hearing aids to switch to them!

When you adjust a program and click “update” or “save as” it now saves it directly to the hearing aids. To view the programs from the hearing aids:

  1. Select the menu in the top right
  2. Select “My Hearing Aids”
  3. Select “Programs”
  4. Select “Push Button”
  5. This will show the programs on the HAs. To delete one, select it from the list and select delete.

Still no update for me on Android Google Play. Restarted app and my phone. I’m in the US, so maybe we’re a day behind?

I am in the US too. Try this: Go to the play store and look up “easyline remote app” and select it. It may give you an update option. If not, it could be Google rolling the update out slowly.

Just updated the app on the Apple App store and F…I…N…A…L…L…Y it works as it should so far. I created a Custom Program and it has been holding for about an hour or so of on and off the phone and App.
Maybe I will test turning back on some of the notification sounds to see if that has any effect. They told us we had to turn them all off because that was making the programs switch back to Automatic. What a crock.

Update was finally available after 12PM Pacific time for me. Anyway, after the update there’s still a ton of redundant programs showing if I go to “My Hearing Aids” and then “Programs” The app does show a “Delete” button for any of the programs now, but then tells me I can’t delete the programs as it’s currently active in my hearing aids. Guess it’s just a glitch I shouldn’t worry about.

I go in for a 2 week follow-up on the 22nd, so I’ll ask my fitter then. So what do you see on the app screen when to go to “My Hearing Aids” and then “Programs”?

I just got the updated EasyLine app, and I couldn’t find an option to rename programs; and trying to delete a program doesn’t work because it’s active.

Do you see a boatload of “fitted” programs listed when you go to “My Hearing Aids” and then "Programs?

Hi, been using the kS10s for about 6 weeks.
The “boatload” of programs you refer to are the entirety of the possible programs your specialist can activate - so they are essentially an accurate list of what’s available in your even if not activated/used. They have always been in this list in the app afaik. The fact they also NOW removed them from the list of selectable programmes under program selection shows that understood they were confusing people.
I don’t see the fact that the list is still present under “my hearing aids” -> “programs” as an issue. You can now filter them with the “push button” selection if you want to. Most people only need to go to this section of they wanted to rename an existing program imho…
I agree it can seem confusing.

Confusing for sure when there are 10 programs listed as “Phonecall + Mic2” and such.
