Swapping programming sides

Hi there

I have noticed that my hearing aids (Lumity) are programmed in reverse by my regular audiologist. It checks out in the Target app and on the Myphonak app. I suspect this has been going on for months. Whilst I have asked my audiologist to sort this out, it will involve an office visit which may be in a week or two.

I was wondering if there is a way to use the Phonak Target application to essentially invert the settings (i.e. Left to right and right to left) without having to run after the audiologist? I have not got beyond the “allow change of side” message prompt after connecting, as I am afraid of it causing problems later.

So swapping them over in the program would not require any adjustments? Would the also be swapped?

They are models. I know that I can swap the receivers but it just feels counterintuitive because the red/blue colour conventions.

Yeah you’ll be fine,no further adjustments, as for swapping the receivers it’s just a short term measure until you can get into the clinic for them to be sorted out properly for you, after all you paid them for fitting so they need to put it right.
