Using Target to reset adjustments to default - KS10's

Hi I had a hearing test and adjustment session at Costco yesterday and left without realising that the new fitting is really not OK.

I have the Noahlink and Target 9.0 and can open the settings from the ’s but don’t understand how to reset the adjustments he made and just have the default mode using the new . Is that possible or should I just use the previous settings which I have saved?

If you have saved your settings before you went to Cosco, then open Target and select your last saved status at startup and connect your hearing aids. After connection Target will ask if you would use the settings from your or use the data from your selected save-date. You select the option to use the saved data fom the database to overwrite the current fitting in the hearing aids.

But if the new audogram is different you should fit to that, changing the audogram gives you an option to recalculate the fit but you don’t have to.

I opened a new session taking the hearing aids as the foundation. Within that there is the new but the tweaks which the audiologist made that I want to get rid of because they make Bluetooth unusably distorted. I want to know if there is a command to reset to a default based on the new audiogram.

So @firenzel answered this, did you try it, this would give you what you had before going to the clinic, it didn’t work for you?

OK I could have explained better, sorry. I’m aware that I can save the new settings as a session and did that initially. I know I can revert to a previous session. What I was trying to ask was whether I could keep the new (because it has changed in nearly three years) but scrap the tweaks that the audiologist made on top of the basic auto programming the software installs. I did the real ear test and that made some improvement.

Yes you could revert back to a previous session before the “tweaks” and then enter the new audogram, after you do this you’ll get the option to “recalculate” (which you should do, otherwise what’s the point in entering the new audogram?) if you choose not to, you’ll still have your old settings plus the new audogram.

Would I have to enter the manually - i.e. adjust the old one or is there a way of saving the audiogram as a file and loading it in? Thanks for your help!

Yes just reset original settings.

Look at top of software, go to fitting and select reset fine tuning.

That’ll keep your and get rid of the tweaks done by audiologist.

It’s there. I have the latest Target. The option is right at the top of the software.

Option has been there since I’ve started using Target in 2011.
