Ever since the phonak app was updated I’ve had nothing but problems.
First the aids would connect to my phone fine but the app said they couldn’t connect to my hearing aids so I couldn’t connect to my set programs.
After deleting my aids from my phone and reinstalling the app I finally was able to connect my phone to the aids and the phonak app.
Now I set the app to customized program I’ve set up then after a little while I hear the tone like when the aids unconnected and it’s switched from my set program the automatic program and I have to go back and reconnect to the program i want, and again after some time it goes back to automatic.
Talking with phonak they tell me to turnoff my notifications such as emails and texts coming into my phone and turn off alarm notifications, but doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of having the aids and Bluetooth connections?
Anyone else notice this??

It has been only recently, that I have increased my overall usage of the MyPhonak App, using it mainly to mute my hearing aid Mics, whilst using Roger On & Roger Select, this improves overall clarity, and pointing mode now works a dream with Roger On
I use an iPhone 12 Pro, and its always been rock steady with my aids, no dropped connections whatsoever… Cheers Kev
