The one in Kyle off I35. Hope it helps. The lead specialist there has nothing but great things to say about them. YMMF. I pick my set up tomorrow well see if there’s much difference coming from KS10. varied bluetooth experiences with android with other brands is a non-starter for me.
Thought account Phonak spheres, but just not worth 3 times the money to me. I’m just but another Costco offerring every two years and come out ahead.

First off it I sincerely apologize if I am offending any readers, I never want to do that. Nor do i want anyone to think I Iam fluffing or making things up. My 45 years as an electronic specialist in R&D and my personal experience with the product I used for two years is my first source of information. Of course all of JABRA’s schematics and code are proprietary so I cannot explain the myriad of details in that respect.I do subscribe to Perplexity professional version which is an advanced program, so I asked the question and my last reply was a direct answer copied from a very powerful researching tool not my words but the programs results and that is my 2nd source of information I presented.

Please keep us updated about your new aids.
My wife has KS9 aids and might be looking to upgrade.
Thanks

I hope you enjoy your new .
I did recently try these on at my local Costco and unfortunately, my impression was poor.
They did not adequately process noise reduction, and compared to the Phillips and Rexton products I had great difficulty understanding speech in the noisy club.
The Costco Hearing Aid rep said this was the number one criticism of this product and when I asked her if the new Sphere technology would eventually be available at Costco, she said they had not been provided with an update.

It really doesn’t matter what brand or model hearing aids a person buys. If they are not properly set up they will not function well and the buyer will be dissatisfied. Each brand of aids has a personality that not all fitters are good with. And the old saying, everyone is different, our hearing is very personal.

That’s the great part of Costco, I’ll try them a month or so. If I don’t like them. I’ll just return them and wait for the next gen units.

Very true.
But there is obviously a reason that Phonak spent the time and money to develop their newer Sphere product, and I am hopeful that they will one day offer this platform to Costco.

I hope that teaches you not to rely on . It’s artificial, and it’s prone to hallucinate … but it doesn’t tell you when it goes out of bounds. It looks like Perplexity swallowed GN’s marketing material hook, line, and sinker. That’s never a good way to discern what is really going on.

Fair, but is it worth $4K-$5K more as my insurance doesn’t cover much of the cost. My guess is 18 months from now we’ll see new and better and technology at costco if not sooner. Costco’s may have from either the Spheres via Sennheiser or Signia via Rexton. I just much prefer the no pressure to buy vs used car upsale environment in many audiologist offices.

No problem, I don’t think anyone was actually offended, just pointing out it’s incorrect, yeah has a little bit more to go before we can trust the information given, at the moment it’s just picking up random bits from the interwebs but not fact checking before delivery ; )

asking Perplexity what the source of it’s information was?
No need to ask. In my experience with Perplexity, there is a tiny number that is a clickable link at the end of every claim. That’s the reference. Makes it really easy to see how it arrived at its conclusion, and to be your own judge of the validity.

One common production line except at the end where one hearing aid body goes to the left into a shell marked Resound Nexia and the one following goes to the right into a shell marked Jabra
I’m picturing Lucille Ball, now!!

I use a paid for professional version this is not a toy or an anything like Mr. Google even doctors are now using and coincidentally Philips ’s also employ AI in their latest versions.
So after so many doubter in my own analysis I decided to get confirmation BTW Perplexity fact checks all everything before out putting.
It is not serendipity that it confirmed each and every item I posted.

Man it sure seems like this thread has gone sideways. Back to Costco, what is everyone’s favorite offering from them?
