I’m currently wearing the Philips HearLink 9050s, purchased in early January. Just bought a new Android Samsung Galaxy A16 5G this past week and working on some intermittent connectivity issues with streaming and phone calls . . .
I an using the Rexton Reach now for 7 months and am very happy. They replaced my KS10’s and the fidelity both in calls and streaming is fantastic. The direction focus works magic in noisy restaurants when a loud table is near or behind us. The Rexton assist has helped tweak my aids for my wife’s voice with changes to the auto program
I tried all four models currently offered by Costco and ended up purchasing the Phillips 9050 and Rexton Reach models.
The Jabra Enhance Pro 20 was simply too shrill for my hearing, and the Sennheiser Sonite R provided poor noise suppression and focused speech clarity.
I am very pleased with my purchase of both the Phillips and Rexton models and find them easy to wear with excellent speech processing.
Of the two, the Rexton Reach provides a bit more natural sound, and the audio gain compression is better.
As a final note, the Costco Hearing professionals have been excellent to work with. They are always responsive to my questions and are willing to spend the time to ensure that both hearing aids meet my needs.
It is not serendipity that it confirmed each and every item I posted.
And yet it came up with such an obvious lie that Jabra EP 20 was the first model that supported LEA and .
Again, you are right in general that a small external change may require significant under the cover work. It looks like you’re wrong in applying that principle to Jabra-branded HAs.
Continuing to rely on Perplexity … is a bad idea. Nexia’s support for LEA predates Jabra’s by months.
I’ll accept that Perplexity is right most of the time, but its factual failure in missing Nexia casts doubt on everything it comes up with.
My bet is that good docs who use it do so very critically. If they simply accept what Perplexity tells them, they do their patients a serious disservice.
Your quoting Perplexity’s answer passes on misinformation. Sure, it’s misinformation about something that is trivial to most people - but it’s still a disservice to readers and to yourself.

I’m returning my Rexton Reachs’ tomorrow because the bluetooth capabilities are really bad. I’ll keep my KS10s until my store gets Sennheiser. The K10’s have been great but the batteries are starting to wane at 10 hours or so.
I returned the Philips 9050’s, and hanging onto my Ks10’s hoping that a new Sonova device will appear in Costco UK this year. In the mean time sending the right aid off for battery replacement. They were both replaced May 2024 before the end of warranty, but for some reason the right side has stopped charging.

I thought the same thing until I replaced my Pixel 4a phone with the Pixel 9. Turned out Rexton Firmware 25.5.972.3 combined with Android 15 made for a rock solid Bluetooth connection. Glad I kept my Rextons Reaches!
I could connect to my Samsung phone, but for everything else you needed a 2.4 connector. Not true bluetooth when you need an adapter, even for my Ipads.
I appreciate your post. My hearing aids didn’t work until I left the dispensers care. He was kind; he said find someone that can help you more than I can.
He had made setup mistakes.
I will be getting the SoniteR aids in 10 days from Costco in Woodbury MN. This will be a new experience for me. The choice is limited as I have a tiny ear canal. My hearing loss is bordering on profound in the left and moderate in the right.
About 15 months ago I brought my KS9’s to Costco for a refurb. No problems and they even gave me a set of loaners til mine came back. Since yours are newer than mine were, you might be able to do the same - update and new batteries. BTW, 3 months ago I upgraded to 9050’s. Whole new world…
Yes I do. East Lyme costco. Danielle is knowledgeable, patient, a good listener and easy to work with. My KS 9’s were getting long in the tooth, even though Costco upgraded them. I had been following sites, youtube videos and just general discussions. Kinda settled on the 9050’s. Good choice for me. I have gone back about 3 or 4 times for adjustments including a change from one of the aids to a mold from a double power dome. New found clarity, much better speech-in-noise performance, more tolerable wind noise levels and better bluetooth connectivity - I use a samsung s24+ and access LE audio. Phone calls are clearer and folks no longer complain about noise in the background on phone calls.
