After only wearing hearing aids for a couple of months, I noticed something different this morning. My wife was watching the Today show and I noticed that when I turned my head towards the TV, the left hearing aid would turn on. And, if I turned my head way from the TV the left one would turn off. If my wife spoke to me from across the room, the left one would turn back on. When I got to work I noticed the same happening again in my building’s four story atrium. On the ground floor there’s a fountain to act as background white noise. While waiting for the elevator, I noticed that when I turned my head towards the atrium the left hearing aid would come on bringing the sound of the waterfall and when I turned my head the other way the sound of the water would turn off. I could stand there and slightly change my direction and the left hearing aid would go on and off. I would think that the two hearing aids would blend the two sounds together. I have Jabra Enhanced Pro 20s and I’m still within the trial period. The hearing aids just came back from GN where they were refurbished with new microphone filters. Has anyone experienced this before with any hearing aids? Has anyone had this experience? Please, let me know so that I can return these to Costco and exchange them for either the Phillips or the Rexton Reach. I don’t want to have to keep sending the Jabra’s back for repair. Additionally, for anyone wearing either the Phillips or the Rexton, what has been your experience? Thanks in advance.
