Anyone found the Starkey Sound Gear Amp in their US local Costco

Looking for a Costco club that has the Sound Gear Amp in stock. They only sent them to a 100 stores across the US. In search on the East Coast.

Call any Costco’s Hearing Aid Center.

Ask them to look in the region for Soundgear.

That is how I learned about the two stores in the Los Angeles area being in Burbank and in Westlake Village.

Thank you, that’s a 3 and 1/2 hrs drive for me, but l will see if I can do the hearing test which they require by me in NJ, then buy and get it programed in Connecticut. Have my apt Friday for the hearing test.

While doing normal shopping at Costco, I stopped by the Hearing Center and asked them to check for wax in the ear canal.

They did a quick inspection and said I am ready to schedule a Hearing Test. Otherwise I would have get the wax removed elsewhere prior to the test.

Then I made the appointment and did the hearing test in that nearby Costco store.

After the test, I then made an appointment with the much farther Burbank store for the Soundgear specialist.

My test results are in their computer system, and available to any of the stores.

During the testing, I learned the nearby specialist had only been in that role for 1-month. Upon hearing that, the farther Soundgear specialist offered to retest me.

We did a 2nd test of just the tones. There was a difference, probably due to a head cold having cleared up.

Great to know the test is in the computer system which can be seen at any store location, thanks.

I spoke to Soundgear tech support today.

They have the list of 100 Costco stores with the Soundgear AMP Hearing Aids. Call them at 1 (833) 753-6189 to find the closest Costco.

However, they don’t know when Costco will make the Soundgear AMP products available to all of the stores.

Thanks, I found one store with them about a 50-mile drive. So I am having my hearing test on Fri at my local store, then on Monday, going to the other store to get fitted with the sound gear. These are the same as the Starkey Edge 24, supposedly at $1700.

Picking up my soundgear amp hearing aids on Tuesday which I payed for already. Testing of them was good for me.
Have a scheduled fitting appointment.
Will let you know my thoughts on them a few days later to see how they are in noisy environments, and go through all the app settings.
These are the same as the Stakey Edge 24.
