Auracast Installations in the USA

There have been an unknown number of installations in the recent past. Many of these are installs in places of worship or theatres that don't get reported to any of the various entities that are tracking such installations. Others are done by professional audio technicians who don't report them either.

I have created and plan to maintain a list of such venues and am inviting reports from members of this forum on installations in their communities. The list is posted at http://www.loopnm.com/Installations.html. 15You can report new installations you are aware to me a sofnabq@gmail.com.

I am a freelance writer and am also seeking background information on a piece on the growing presence of Auracast, user reaction to it, and what problems and successes have been encountered with the technology.

Any thoughts or suggestions on this endeavor are welcome also.

Another listing of locations is at https://hearfinder.com. 9

The fact that www.loopnm.com1 is New Mexico site may cause people to assume it is only for Auracast sites in that state and they should not list their sites if they are outside of the state. We've listed our Space Foundation Discovery Center Auracast system with the hearfinder.com site.

Thanks for your input. Google and other search engines still fine the site so I'm using it instead of rebuilding my original site.

I originally set up a separate site dedicated solely to Auracast. It got hacked and everything was lost. I had backups of some of the info so I incorporated them into the Loop NM site that's been active for 15 years. The list (just updated) of "reported" Auracast installs (updated yesterday) includes those of hearfinder along with a considerable number I've captured from news releases, the SIG Auracast case studies, and other sources. My old site is still live (www.nht.name) and refers visitors to LoopNM.
