Changing settings for TV Connector using Target

I’m relatively new to so I hope this isn’t a daft question!

I want to modify the settings for the TV connector streaming. I selected the relevant media streaming option and made a few changes - mainly reducing the loudness level across all frequencies and increasing the high frequencies slightly.

When I save and close Target the sound I now get from the TV connector is much better. However, every 30 seconds or so, it keeps reverting to what I think is the original settings and then back to the new settings (like an A-B comparison).

Any ideas what I might have done wrong?

You might try changing the setting for activation to manual from automatic.

Is this one of the programs that has speech and music modes, depending on what the think is being streamed? I know works that way.
