Seriously, the TV coverage is crucial as it will spark conversations and generate interest. I’m delighted that Auracast has appeared on regional ITV news.

How do people learn a location has , physical signage? Then during each visit to the location one has to manually connect? It does not function similarly to WiFi in that there can be an automatic connection to recalled prior connections?

This is a very good question. There were no signs at Brighton yesterday, and I did alert the team, they are looking into it.

Do any of the assistants currently support QR code use for pairing/selection?
What stops someone from setting up another assistant with a similar sounding name and doing who knows what. Scammers will find a way even if there is not an obvious use case at the moment. Heck, they could just charge a small fee and rebroadcast the official stream.

Pixels support QR codes in the built in broadcast assistant. Not sure what tricking someone into taking an broadcast would achieve. Spamming them would last about ten seconds before they turn it off. You could get them to board the wrong train just for a laugh?
Edit: It would be useful if the spec allowed for a broadcast to be tagged as the ‘official’ broadcast for a particular locale. Does anyone know if this is possible?
