HARK Further Testing

Hello guys :slight_smile:

I hope you all are well. I am excited to share that I have progressed further in the development of the HARK project. I have finally gotten it up and running in preparation to be released on the Play Store.

To be transparent, have decided to attach a price tag of $2.00, which converts to a lot in my currency. It is my hope that my work has been good enough to be deserving of that small compensation. For those who have never heard of HARK before and would like to try it, you can do so here16 on GitHub using a version that is slightly older than the latest version in the closed test (explained below).

Google’s testing is quite vigorous, so it is unfortunately not as simple as me uploading the project and it being available for download. Right now, I need to run a closed test so that Google can see my project is legitimate and works.

I would greatly appreciate your support in helping this project get up and running on the Play Store, so it may hopefully reach more people with hearing aids who may benefit from my project. Please send an email to me directly via thivyanstudios@gmail.com to sign up for the testing (or ask a question), where I will add you to a Google Group, or sign up for the Google Group yourself, here4. You can also become a tester here5.

I have just learnt I can adjust the trial to allow the closed testers to use the app for free.

If you click the link and see an option to pay, do not pay! Wait a few hours and the page will update to reflect that you are a tester and therefore have free access.

To provide further incentive, those who participate in the trial and successfully help it get to production will get receive promo code that will allow you to own the app for free, forever. For those who do not make it in, but want to own the app when it goes public, will be required to pay the $2.
