Hearing Australia Fitware

Does anyone know if Hearing Australia’s Fitware is exactly the same as Resound SmartFit or if SmartFit can be used with what appear to be re-labelled Resound hearings aids (XG560S-DRWC)?

I’ve tried SmartFit 2.3 and also the latest Interton, Danavox and Beltone fitting software with no luck. The hearing aids are undetected.
I’m using a new Noahlink wireless that is recognised as legit by the Noahlink update software and flashes it’s green LEDs every few seconds when scanning and for a few seconds when first connected to the PC or after a reboot/power on.
I’ve also tried scanning (with all other bluetooth devices off) while switching the hearing aids off and on, in the charger, just out of the charger, appealing to higher powers, standing on one leg while touching my nose….etc…etc

I don’t know if I specifically need the Fitware software (or where to get it) or if my Noahlink is faulty, as i don’t have other hearing aids to try.

Never heard of these before, no one seems to have mentioned these on hearingtracker, obviously they are locked, always best to buy from Costco or even eBay used then oddball rebranded models.

I think Amplifon has acquired Hearing Australia, so undoubtedly the rebranded Resound aids will be locked to the Amplifon version of SmartFit that Amplifon use elsewhere, in UK for example. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that the Amplifon version of SmartFit is available. Many people have asked about this over the years and I never saw a report of anyone resolving this issue.

I know that Amplifon acquired GN Hearing, but think Hearing Australia is still a commercial entity owned by the Australian government. Hearing Australia2

Unfortunately in both cases I guess would still be difficult/impossible to either without the right version of GN software.

I didn’t realise (only just found out) that NAL is a research division of Hearing Australia. Doesn’t help DIY, but interesting all the same.
