My husband recently got the N8 and he has the N7 on his other ear. Obviously the N7s batteries aren’t available anymore. I tried putting his N8 battery on his N7 and it won’t turn on. I’m seeing everyone having success with it and wondering if there’s something I need to do to get it to work.

I saw a lot of people saying they used their N8 batteries in their N7. I understand some doctors and manual don’t recommend it

So no interchangeable rechargeable batteries.
I remember reading that too but I have also read about people saying they do exchange. I am curious how this turns out.
Hate to see N7 users dealing with battery issues.
Something worth mentioning is the N7 works great on disposable 675 batteries.

The N7 batteries do fit the N8. Cochlear don’t advise it but they do for both processor and Y charger.

Check the kiddy lock if your battery won’t turn. It’s a tiny little lever that slides both left and right. Slide it to the other side.
