My experience with the Jabra E/P 30s is that when using the, “Hear in Noise”, program after my fitter changed the settings to the Dynamic focus, in the fitting software, This made a greatly improved ability to hear speech in a very noisy environment. With my previous Jabra E/P 20s, everything sounded very sharp while with the Jabra E/P 30s the overall sound is more natural in any program. They are a big improvement. There’s only one downside to the, “Hear in Noise”, program. The battery drain is much greater if you select the, “Hear in Noise”, program and forget to switch back to the, “All Around” program, your battery capacity is reduced. In the, “All Around”, program I get more than 18 hours of battery life. The longest battery life was over 20 hours. However, if I leave the hearing aids set to the, “Hear in Noise”, program, then I get the battery low warning chimes after only 13 hours of use. That’s my only issue, and it’s my problem forgetting to switch back to, “All Around”, sounding. I wish the app was smart enough to warn me that I’m still in the noise reduction program after a couple of hours use.
