According to recent reports, Sam’s has partnershipped with a company called NationsBenefits, which will handle all aspects of the their hearing centers . But the Lucid company is still selling their hearing aids at Sam’s, as far as I can tell. So consumers can still visit Sam’s for hearing exams, or reprogramming, etc.
If
I were you, I’d call the nearest Sam’s ( there are over 400 of them), and relate the problem to the person in charge (the store close to me has only person running their hearing center) He is a HAS, a nice guy, and easy to talk to. I hope that you may find some solution.
I am still waiting on the answer that I asked the Sam’s guy, and that is whether or not my Advantage 75 insurance will help pay for my next pair. So far, no answer.

Sams no longer sells prescription Lucid aids, no clue if Sam’s still sells the . LXE hearing (parent company of Lucid ) is practically gone in the US.
who will program this aids for the new user ? I have no clue if Sams has the Lucid programming software and for how long they will have it . Someone in this forum reported that Sams was not offering support and he/she had to go through a government entity to get money back (but no support)
