Very pleased with the Jabra E P 30. Just want to share a few tips. When I go on a walk with someone, I like to use the Micro Mic with the following tweak: I turn down the volume of the “surroundings” bar, not the orange Micro Mic, same for restaurant. When I watch TV and use the TV Streamer I raise the “surroundings” in order to be able to communicate during the show. When returning to “All-Around” I have to reset the volume as it does not do so, automatically. I rec using a Jewler magnifying glasses for cleaning, checking , etc. The plastic ones are like $10 on-line.

When going for a walk, change to Outdoor program, then Multimic, then adjust slider. Then when done, set program back to All Around and it should reset to whatever volume you had previously used in All Around. But yes, if you stay in the same program, then stream, it doesnt reset when no longer streaming.

I’ve been a Costco customer since 2010, and except for one time when I was far from Costco and needed , I’ve never had a problem getting wax guards at no charge from Costco.

The idea of paying for wax guards makes me shudder.:blush:

heh, well sure, especially if you’re going to Costco anyway to pick up other items besides the . But even though I’m a Costco member, my closest Costco is 90-120 minutes away, so I only go a few times a year. It’s certainly worth the trip for me when it comes to something as expensive as hearing aids, but for wax guards, the smarter buy for me, if that’s all I need, is Amazon! :wink:

When using Multi-Mic, such as walking with a friend, do you clip the mic to their shirt, or leave it hanging around your own neck? I would think the former is necessary for success. Mostly, for the past year, I’ve just been using the Outdoor setting when walking with my friend–of course we are at a bayside park, so the only ‘other’ sounds are birds–no worries about adjacent traffic. It hasn’t seemed necessary to enable the external mic.

Clip on or hang on the cord around their neck. I walk trails and can hear my wife clearly even if I get 100ft ahead, but she can’t hear me. I do not use, or have, the outdoor program but will investigate further,
