I want my to connect to the app but I want to control streaming and phone calls. I thought I had it figured out but my audiologist did a firmware upgrade and now I can’t seem to disconnect streaming and phone calls without also losing my connection to the app. Any suggestions. Using Android, Pixel 9 phone.

Yeah these firmware updates always seem to break something! But believe you have 2 different Bluetooth for controlling App and streaming, for app and for streaming, I don’t have a pixel but what kind of set up do you have in your Bluetooth settings, also have you got Android 16 installed, as this can control directly without the need for the App.

I don’t know if it will help with phone calls, but you can go to settings → sound and vibration and the top option will be
Play on
or This phone
Push that and there will be a way to change where the audio output goes. I’m not 100% sure if it’s just media or for phone calls either. I would have to check it. But hopefully it helps

This may help: in the Jabra app, go to the More page, and make sure ‘Auto-activate favorite locations’ is off. If it’s turned on, my TV Streamer+ will not give up my .
I do not like the Jabra app, and I’ve been using the Android app on my Pixel 9. BTLE & BTLEA are far from flawless. For example, right now the Jabra app is fully connected to my HAs and the Android app shows full connection in one place and connection only to the right HA in another.
