This afternoon, Easy Line app simply couldn’t connect to my hearing aids, it just kept trying.
Finally, I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it from Play Store and went through the pairing process. Everything works fine again.
Later this evening:
I usually charge these hearing aids around 9 PM so I can stream movies while walking on a treadmill. Usually I do a long press on the right one and they revert to my custom setting. This time they turned off so I put them back in the charger briefly, took them out and ran the Easy Line app.
Same problem as this afternoon…constantly trying to connect over and over.
This time I restarted my android phone, ran the app, and everything worked fine.
I am not sure what is going on but maybe the latest update changed something.
Morning next day:
I hear a ping and my hearing aids revert to Automatic Premium. Easy Line app can’t connect to aids.
It is time to make an appointment with a COSTCO hearing aid specialist.
Troubleshooting:
I installed Easy Line app on my Samsung tablet and it works fine connecting to the hearing aids. The phone won’t connect after the initial connection first thing in the morning or after the aids are turned off and restarted during the day for any reason. So, I suspect Android 9 is not compatible with the latest update and I need a new phone.
