I’m sure they will, once they actually release a new model, the latest Sphere have with capability just needs a firmware update.

You may need to contact them. They are sending me a new one.

“unfortunately the C82 you received is our V0 and it cannot be firmware upgraded. The new one (v1) posted to you should fix your issue.”

I do find that weird as I updated the firmware of the one I received but I suppose it could have updated hardware.

I did receive it before the site said they should be available so it may have been a mistake. Or they took the feedback on board and updated a later batch.

Thanks, ok I understood that there will be a new update not that you will receive a new dongle.
I have wrote a message too, wondering what I got as an answer. I have version 0.2.7.

In your link the C82 was a 3 in 1 dongle, now they have two C82, one with and one with Auracast.

Yes or any other SP model, all the features available on Audeo should be available for Power models.

I bought (at my audiologist) and received already the Oticon’s Easy LE adapter, it works quite well with my Oticon Intent. Works in my PC, can watch movies and play games without a perceptible latency, and surprisingly, it works in my PS5 as well.

Edit: On PC it also works as a microphone, not sure yet if from the adapter itself, or if from the hearing aid microphone, but it works.

Notice that they say it requires an Android phone with LE audio.

Come on Starkey, how about adding an assistant to your app like Resound/Jabra did?

That way it would be usable with iPhones and old Android devices as well!

I asked my audiologist about that.
She told me she thought was available if would pop up and tell you
I’m not convinced.
I’m going to buy one of the auracast devices and test it.

I notice Avantree (@PhoebeY)posting here now. I am currently awaiting a replacement to the C82 as it did not work despite combined efforts. Fingers crossed for C82 Aura which is expected to be available at the end of the month.

The support has been fantastic though. We have had some back and forth and there seems to be an active interest in getting this working for users. Nice to see something other than floogoo not brand locking or ignoring us (I’m looking at you Creative :eyes:)

Hi Mike，for -enabled Hearing Aids, C82 Aura should work. The pervious version C82 supports Classic Bluetooth + Auracast + CIS… far too complicated for users. So we will launch Aura and LEA version instead. Rest assured that it should work well for you. @Mike_A

I think mine is the first version. Plain old C82. From our conversations the hardware did not support hearing aids due to bitrate and not able to change it via software.

I asked about the replacement the other day as I had not heard for a while and one of your colleagues estimated it would be dispatched end of this month. Looking forward to receiving it and trying it out :grinning:

It is up to date apparently. 0.2.7. This is from before the C82 LEA was advertised as being a product. If there is a file for an upgrade that the tool isn’t picking up could you please DM it to me. Thanks.
