I’m trying to determine the best settings for playing and listening to my guitar with my Philips 9030’s. The std P1 program emphasizes high frequencies way too much and my acoustic guitar sounds way too metallic. P2, the noise reduction program mutes too much. But the HiFi program, my P4, and the Classroom (MT) program sound better with the HiFi program still a bit too tinny. Looking at the Classroom (MT) program I see something added called M relative to T. It’s set at -5 now. Is M microphone and T . I do not have a telecoil. I’m not sure what this does if anything though. I would like to use this program and maybe turn up the high frequencies until they become annoying and tinny or maybe start with the HiFi and go the other way with high freq. All the programs are at 80% and -2 dB mid freq and -4 dB high freq. I’ve found I’m very sensitive to volume and this is all I can tolerate after 7 months of wearing these. Any musicians with recommendations? Thanks.
