Philips 9050,telephone MT program

Recent Costco visit because of problems hearing phone calls. I now have program “Telephone M"T” which works well. Except if I forget to go back to my general program, then I get terrible buzzing if I walk near electrical box. Is this normal? Would I also use this program to hear in places with broadcast?

Yes, this is completely normal, whilst I no longer use I can confirm that i have experienced this on numerous occasions over the many years I did use Telecoil. Simply moving away from the electrical box/device causing the interferences will resolve the problem.

This setting will also enable you to connect to Telecoil Loop system assuming its working and turned on, (not always the case in my experience)
