I’m currently an Oticon Real 1 user that is trailing the Phonak I90 Sphere Ultras for the next 2 weeks. Running into a Bluetooth issue that is annoying. The right ear seems to be dominant/audio heavy for lack of a better descriptor. When I would watch videos or listen to music with my Oticon Real 1, they were balanced and the audio came out equally from both sides. This is not the case with the Sphere devices. I would say 70% audio comes through on the right side and the rest on the left. Super annoying when on a phone call and it’s unbalanced like that. Is this just the way streaming is with the Phonaks. I noticed under my BT devices listed on my phone, the Right and Left ear show up as separate BT devices, whereas my Oticon HAs show as one combined BT device. I think this may be part of the problem, but again, not sure if this is normal for Phonak HAs to show up as 2 separate BT devices. I’m uploading my BT settings page to show what I mean.
Does everyone’s BT device page with Phonaks look like this showing 2 separate BT devices?
I’ve tried deleting and re-adding process which did not fix the issue. This screenshot is from my Android device, but also experiencing the same issue when I paired with an iPhone for troubleshooting purposes.
