Phonak Audéo Infinio I90 vs Phonak Audéo Infinio Spheres I90 battery life

Debating on either getting the Phonak Audéo Infinio I90 or the Phone Audéo Infinio Sphere I90s. Anybody have real time battery feedback? Would like to try the Audéo Infinio Spheres but I’m worried about the battery life. Right now I’m demoing a set of the Phonak Audéo Infinio I90, they last about 15 hours. I’m afraid that the new Phonak Audéo Infinio Sphere I90 batteries won’t last as long as the Phonak Audéo Infinio I90’s, due to the chip. Is the Phonak Audéo Infinio Sphere I90 worth getting even if I have to recharge mid day? What would you guys pick between the two and why? Thanks in advance.

My Infinio Sphere battery, in normal use with automatic settings, will last for two days. After 15 hours my aids usually have about 55% battery remaining. Of course if you make more intensive use of the Spheric function (such as turning it on manually and forgetting about it) the battery will deplete much faster. My Phonak Lumity’s will be fully depleted after 15 hours.

The Sphere noise reduction mode only kicks in when there is quite a bit of noise. On days when the Sphere mode isn’t activated, the larger battery in the Sphere’s lasts 2 days for me. I typically wear my Sphere’s from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm (16 hours) and this includes 2-4 hours a day of streaming. Just bear in mind the Sphere’s are physically larger than the non Sphere Infinio’s but it’s not really noticeable. Go with the Sphere’s. The noise reduction is crazy good.

I wear my sphere 90s 16 to 17 hours a day. I never have less than 50% at the end of the day. I’ve never seen it. I’m not in noise a tremendous amount of the day, but I get some sphere time most every day. This morning it was the walk-in coolers and a truck exhaust. Even with a few hours in sphere at a restaurant it is still good. I suppose if you work in a shop or store where it is stuck in sphere all day, you might run out. Get it just for the battery alone.

I’d get the Sphere version, just to have the option of the Spheric Speech In Noise feature in case it was needed. If the battery needs a recharge due to intensive Sphere mode use (or forbetting to turn Sphere mode off when it’s not needed), I’ve read that a 15 minute recharge gives you between 1.5 hrs and 3 hrs of use. I think the Go charger, with an internal battery of its own, is included when you buy the Sphere I90 aids.

I use turn on the sphere program all day at work, since it’s all talk-based work. I get about 8 hours max before battery dies. I use my previous (P90) aids as back up for when the new .(I90 sphere ) aids die . I have tried taking the spheres out, ( at lunch) to recharge but charging is so slow it’s not that helpful)
