Phonak Sphere Speech In Car Accelerometer

I’m very excited to get my new Spheres soon!

Do any current wearers of these know if they’re capable of automatically switching to a “speech in car” to filter out road noises and focus on the passenger’s speech through its accelerometer (by audiologist setting) or is this something I need to manually switch on the MyPhonak app?

I have Audeo p-90s and it switches to speech in car automatically. I can’t imagine they lost the ability.

Same now with new spheres. It did it on the way home in the car.

It automatically switches to Speech in Car if using Automatic program, when in car, bus or subway.

Not sure how it knew, but I hadn’t even started moving and it said speech in car.

Have you checked the app when you are in the car? If in automatic, select the automatic button and then select the adjust button to see what program the hearing aids are using.

I’ve saved a speech in car program adjusting settings in my Phonak. I changed the listening circle so I could hear all around.

Yes, that’s why it’s in Speech in Noise program when I am sitting in office, as there is air conditioning noises.
