The TV connector works very well with my Samsung TV and is controlled by the my Phonak app on my cellphone where i can choose the setting (automatic, TV, music, bar/restaurant). The problem is the TV keeps connecting when not wanted. When i enter the front door the TV sound instantly blares out in my ears! Any ideas to fix this please?

Yes, turn it off when not using it. The V2 has buttons on top and one of them is power. Then turn it on when you want to use it.

Your can change the program to give you an audible notification that the tv connector is available and you switch to it with an button press.

I’ve mentioned this many times but here goes again…
Turn off all Bluetooth on devices (including the TV Connector) when you are not using them. The only Bluetooth device that I keep on at all times is my iPhone. The Sphere’s only allow 2 devices to be connected at a time and they will grab a connection (just like your TV Connector) even when you don’t want them to. Follow this advice and you will never have a single Bluetooth issue.

Yes, you can simply kill the audio of the TV-streamer, this will stop any streams.
But I find it easier to use an external, rotary knob for this, as I find tapping the buttons on the streamer, my and -God forbid- that Phonak app very clumsy.
