I have a one year old pair of Starkey Genesis.
They get into this odd situation where they stop communicating with each other. If I have my phone around, and change the volume or program or something, it seems to update in both hearing aids (almost always).
If I don’t have my phone, or turn it off, then the hearing aids sometimes stop communicating with each other. If I raise or lower the volume, it only changes in one ear.
After some time, it usually starts working again. That is, they communicate without the phone.
Is this normal operation? Do they prefer talking to the phone, so if the phone becomes unavailable, they are not actively communicating with each other for awhile?
I didn’t notice it up until the past few weeks. But maybe just because I hadn’t used without my phone very often.
