Remove a stuck wax filter in a receiver or transmitter

That looks like an F size filter. Replacement filters come with a little tool that threads into the filter so that you can pull it out. Do you have replacement filters with you?

To add to the list of options, if you have a jewelers screwdriver, the sort of thing you’d find in a set of tiny tools for your house or eyeglasses, try one with a flat blade to lever out the filter, but be gentle so as not to distort the side of the speaker case,

I’ve had this happen & I can only conclude for me it was a bad batch of cerushield; I used an old cerushield case to sort it out; ie. I used tweezers to remove an already removed filter from a known good cerushield case & then used that case spot again to remove the apparently stuck filter….
