Took delivery of Soundamp hearing aids at Costco

I took delivery of the new Soundamp hearing aids at the Tulsa, OK store today. They are made by Starkey and feature . So far they are great, but they are not Bluetooth compatible other than for your phone. If you want bluetooth for TV or your computer, you have to purchase the Starkey TV streamer at a whopping $325. The ratings for the quality of this streamer are mixed at best. I will keep you posted on the hearing aids. They are made by Starkey but sold under the Soundgear product ‘Soundamp.’

I think those devices have + . You should be able to connect to devices that have LE Audio without using an accessory. The thread below seems to confirm that the Starkey Edge (same as your device) do have Auracast + LE audio.

But if the devices don’t have LE audio then yes , you are correct . Starkeys don’t have universal Bluetooth connectivity and need and accessories to connect to those devices.

Yes , please let us know more about your experience with the Soundgears AMP after playing with them .

How to Access Auracast in the Starkey Edge AI App?
Great! I will arrange a Audikast 4 for you when it is ready. https://avantree.com/products/audikast-4-bluetooth-le-audio-auracast-transmitter-for-tv should be in June

You can try HomeSpot BA210 v2 AV Broadcaster – https://www.amazon.com/HomeSpot-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Compatible-Headphones/dp/B0DJ33677Q/22

Remember to use QK CastTool to enable the Edge Optimization feature. Otherwise, you might experience choppy audio after some tens of minutes for certain Edge firmware. This problem is supposed to have been solved in 10.3.1+ firmware, but Edge Optimization will take care of it even though if it’s not.
