Hello,
I just received my Phonak Audio I90 Sphere. Overall, I’m really happy with them EXCEPT Bluetooth Connectivity on my iPhone.
The connects properly to the myPhonak app, and I can use the app to change Volume, Programs, etc. But it DOESN’T stream for calls, music or videos even though, in Settings, under Bluetooth, the HA shows connected.
The User Guide says: “Additional functions with Infinio Ultra and newer: After successful pairing your hearing aids are connected for the Bluetooth streaming. You can now listen to audio and answer phone calls on your hearing aids.”
But, in my case, this is simply not true. The only time streaming works is if I delete the myPhonak App, reinstall it, and start the connection process all over again. But after a few hours if no use (e.g overnight), once again the streaming stops.
In the meanwhile, on all other devices which do not have the myPhonak app, the streaming works fine all the time. My HA is connected to my iPad, my Mac, Roger On 3 and TV Connector. All work fine, and I can jump from one to the other seamlessly.
Would anyone who has a clue about what’s possibly wrong please enlighten me. Very frustrated!
