@Jackhammer, I haven't carefully followed this thread, but do you have your feedback test results for each ear for whatever you're concerned about feedback? The output of such a test is usually your gain curves for soft, medium, and loud sounds plotted relative to the available maximum stable gain. Usually, the maximum gain achievable at each frequency is also shown (gain limit). The areas between the maximum stable gain and the gain limit are usually where feedback will occur. And paradoxically, the most gain is usually applied to soft sounds because of hearing loss and compression, so it's the gain applied to soft sounds that usually intrudes on (or comes too close to) feedback regions when you're having feedback problems.
The nice thing about feedback test results is that they are not theoretical. They show the real-world effect of your vent size and how the molds fit in your ear canals. So, if you asked your audi for your feedback test results and posted them here, a lot more would be apparent. Apologies if I haven't used the right terms, but I hope I've conveyed the importance of your feedback test results (what happens when the audi apologizes for making a loud noise in your ears!).
