I was offered this program alongside All-around and accepted it as one of two for my pushbutton. But the aim and nature of this program has not been explained well by the fitter, by the app, or by . Were you offered such a program or know anything about it?
That’s one of my 4 Jabra E P Max that I have. Tried it a few times but didn’t like it. Seems unstable after I tried to save the sound selections. Results stink after saving, IMO.
I discovered that the Experience program was designed more for the Jabra Enhance Max than for the Pro 30, and that it does not have to do with environmental sound like All-around does. Rather, it has to do with streaming.
@VeryTas Will give that “experience” program another try while my Avantree is already connected and my TV is on. Thank you very much for your time and kindness. I still hate using these Jabra E P MAX’. In the past 20+ years with Costco fitted hearing aids, had always had the bluetooth RECEIVERS inside the ear canals. These do not. I hate them. My excellent h a Costco fitter and I are hoping and praying for a new, more suitable brand and higher powered model to arrive in all Costco stores to help those of us with severe-to-profound hearing loss ~~~ the “October 2026 surprise” 😎😉🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@verytas. Used the Experience program via my Jabra app and the Avantree to watch tv news last night. I always make sure those crummy Jabras, in the app in my phone show connected + the Avantree Audikast 4 _ C835 is running then I tap Speech clarity in the Experience program and, if needed, adjust the sound enhancer. Works better now, thanks to you. however, these ’s still stink. My brain absolutely needs the receivers In the CANAL.
these BTE’s still stink. My brain absolutely needs the receivers In the CANAL.
This comment got my attention. I've worn both and hearing aids and found them to sound almost the same. I actually preferred the BTE aids that have better sound IMO.
Programming and acoustics have so very much to do with how they sound.
For me, the Receiver in the Canal places the phone caller’s voice directly inside my ears. The ’s do not. Your feedback is always appreciated. Thank you.
@Raudrive I never have and never will consider you nor any group member “argumentative”. Everyone of us have our own experiences and solutions to resolve hearing loss issues. I learn something new here, every day. You have much more knowledge that I ever will. My hearing started down hill many years before I admitted to the loss, at least, over 40 years ago. I didn’t pay attention to the loss until age 65. By then, I had lost a whole lot of speech understanding. As I reported previously, from 2007-Mid July 2026, I always felt the phone caller’s voice sounded like it was coming from the receivers in the canal. For me, that was a huge help. These ’s do not work that way for me. Thanks, again.
