Anyone else doing in-situ with resounds/beltones/Jabra enhanced Pro (GN hearing aids)

If yes, please lmk how you went about this, and if it was a better feeling/sounding fit for you than the regular . This brand/make wants you to use a power dome for in situs, regardless of the domes you’ll actually use in real like, so it confuses me. Please also let me know what domes you used in the in-situ and what you used afterwards in real like. Thanks!!!

bumping this topic to see if anyone self fits these hearing aids using In situ, which is a very different process with this model than with others. Anyone?

Yes, but using an . Resound is the ONLY hearing aid where they want you to wear Powerdomes, and NOT your usual domes to do in situ. Kinda defeats the purpse, and i have been wondering why…

In-situ audiometry should be closed for best results, why would you want open, no need to hear environmental sounds? Yeah like any test headphones ,earbuds, foam inserts etc

isn’t the point to take into account the domes you have in your ears, especially if they are vented or even open? instead of trying to replicate an with inserts? I always thought this was the reason - to go a step beyond an audiogram, “In the situation”

Yeah in most cases, but I don’t see an issue, as it’s still possible to find tune in the software, so what actually happens when you use your open domes, did you find the programming was incorrect for you, too loud or soft, the gain value was all over the place, or did it pretty much follow your .
