@padraighgriffin I wonder if you’ve received your 60 receivers yet and whether it helped solve your issue or not?

I too would like to know if you have resolved your hiss issue.
I use the large no vent minifit grip tips with the More1 aids and the hiss is still driving me nuts. I don’t do my own programming so need to have a good solution that I can relate to my audi before I make the trip to see her.
I have noticed that the hiss stops if I cup my hand behind my ear (an old trick to amplify sound before ) which leads me to believe it’s tied to the feedback programming. The hand cupped behind the ear doesn’t mute the hearing aids but does stop the hissing. I’d be willing to sacrifice the increase in feedback to get rid of the hiss. I should also note the hiss is less in the MyMusic program if that’s hint.
By the way, the trial pair I had before I bought these also had the hiss. Neither the OPN1 or Alta Pros I owned previously had this issue.

I’m so sorry that i have not responded to this thread. It has been a mad couple of weeks/months. I developed rumbling in ears, and other symptoms and was diagnosed with middle ear mycolonus by world leading Professor/Surgeon. I knew my tinnitus experience was not the usual. It is just bizarre and debilitating at times. Following his recommedation I have opted for surgery, which involves getting both the Tensor Tympani and Stapedius lasered.
As for the Oticons, the low hiss is still present and they also have bluetooth issues. I haven’t tinkered with them since, as priorities lie elsewhere, My 60DB receivers were returned by customs for some strange reason.
My plan for the Oticons after the two surgeries and subsequent recovery is to take them to the dedicated service centre in my region and look for a replacement. They will be hesitatant as they were bought in Korea, and not local, but whatever they say, I do have an international warranty, so they will have to honour it.
I’m sorry you have the hiss. It certainly is a defect as I purchased Phonak P90’s and have no issues. I now have two sets of hearing aids, but might sell one set when all is sorted. Surgery first though
