I have just completed a one-year subscription with Phonak Lyrics. My experience was generally pretty positive. However, I found that just a few days after each replacement/installation I had problems which I suspect were caused by the Lyrics moving slightly in my ears during sleep. Inevitably I would land up removing them and reinserting myself. But this became quite irritating, and I found the sound was thus often sub optimal with this movement. I suspect another possible cause was the sizing - possibly too small.
In any event, rather than just opting for another year’s subscription, I have been researching alternatives.
I want the smallest (invisible) solution with good sound (including in busy/noisy places like restaurants). I don’t care about Bluetooth and other app related features.
At this stage I am considering a 30 day trial of the Phonak Virto P-10 units. My audiologist assures me these are the smallest (even smaller than the Titanium units) - and that their custom molding is better than the Titanium ones.
Does anyone have any advice to offer me in relation to the Virto P-10’s and even in comparison to the Lyrics sound quality?
I would REALLY appreciate any input/options/advice or just experience of others on this please.
