Has anybody experienced the following problem? How did you solve it?
Basically, if I have toggled ON (in Device Details for ), I can’t use phone functions: I don’t get rings when someone calls, I can’t hear via my HAs or be heard, though I can hear and be heard if I switch output from from HAs to speaker. The HAs’ connection with the Jabra app is solid.
If I have LE Audio toggled OFF, I can use phone functions: I get rings via my HAs when someone calls, I can hear via my HAs and be heard. The HAs’ connection with the app is intermittent at best. The aids won’t connect at all after recharging. If I delete and reinstall the app, the app will find the aids but won’t connect.
Streaming music, TV Streamer+, and Multi-Mic+ all work fine either way. Software for phone, aids, and app are all current.
My last attempt to make this work was with Jabra support. I force stopped the app, cleared its storage, and uninstalled it. I rebooted the phone, reinstalled the app, ensured LEA was toggled on, connected HAs (which reboots the aids). Those steps all worked splendidly. Same symptoms.
I really like the Pro 30s. They’ve enabled conversations I haven’t been able to have in years. I’m OK switching LEA on and off to make calls, but that doesn’t help me receive calls.
Cases are open at both Google and Jabra, but I’m hoping someone here has experienced and resolved this problem.
I welcome suggestions, diagnoses, etc. At this point, no one even knows where the problem is - phone, aids, or user.
Thanks in advance.
