Jabra Enhance Pro 30 or enhace pro app issue?

Some awesome information here and I thank you. Yes, we are known pretty much world wide for our ridiculously exorbitant cellular prices/costs. The reason that I bought the Motorola was based on price and published specifications that met all of the hearing aid requirements for audio streaming and calls. It just doesn’t work well at all. Hence my frustration and quest for a more compatible phone. You have clearly done a lot of ground work on researching different phones, used, new and other. Kudos to you for that and thank you for sharing your knowledge with myself and the forum. I am currently working with a provider to find a used phone that will work for me. As I said to Roy, on this forum, I hate admitting my frugality in a public forum. However, reality bites deep from time to time.

For the record, I ended my phone search 2 days before I saw your post about considering a new phone, and I sold my Samsung S20 5G on Swappa just a few days before that. IOW, I had already done the research and analyzed what I found, and writing it up was not onerous.

Hello philbob57 You were right on the money, for sure! I may have resolved my issue with a bit of horse trading. If it works out I’ll have a Pixel 9 in a day or two. I tested the Pixel phone with my Jabra EP 30’s and they are miles better than when paired to the Motorola. Thanks so much for your reply!

I ran into 3 problems with my Pix 9. I’m documenting them because I’m sure I am not the only one to have experienced them, and the first 2 took 3-4 hours (combined) to fix. I installed Android 16 before doing much of anything with the phone; that may have exacerbated or even caused the problem.

1. Couldn’t pair HAs with the phone or app. Fixed when I remembered they were paired with my old phone. Turning BT off in the old phone allowed my aids to pair with the app like a champ. Sometimes I wonder about myself….

2. The phone worked fine at first, but after installing the Jabra app, calls were inaudible, even though volume was maxed out in the settings. The cure starts with clearing cache for every app on the phone and restarting immediately after clearing the last app’s cache (instructions are on the web). When I restarted, the volume setting for calls was set to a very low volume, so I had to bump it up. Not every phone experiences this, but there are a lot of posts on the web about the problem with no fix.

3. Once I got the volume right, phone calls didn’t stream to my aids, although music did. That one was easy - uninstall and reinstall the app.

I hope you don’t encounter any problems, but if you encounter one of those 3, this should help.

Cannot connect Jabra Enhanced Pro 30 with my Galaxy S25 android phone which uses the latest Android Software version 16. Costco second level technical support also could not connect my phone and said the Jaba app was not compatible with the latest Android software. we did all of the recommender steps to clear phone and also did multiple reloads. All untuneful .

Not that it helps you even a little, but my S25 and Jabra 30s are working great. Hope you get it figured out.

Connect to your Sammy Bluetooth first and then uninstall the App and reinstall, then try again, or just use the ReSound smart 3D App.

Thanks for your feedback. I wish that I had your good luck as I really like the performance of the JABRA HA’s I had three separate technical people try to pair up with the S25 without success. Over 20 attempts! I also tried to connect with my wife’s S25 and that failed also.

Android version 16 on my Galaxy phone. Also One UI version 8.0. Googly play system update July 1, 2025.

Thanks for your effort to help! However, I do not understand “ Sammy“ Bluetooth or the Resound smart app for my Jabra .

But thanks anyway. I have given up on the Jabra HA since this was only a trial from Costco. I will try Phillips Hearlink 9050 next.

Do you have the latest software Android version 16 installed on your galaxy S25 phone or possibly an earlier version?

Hello folks! I have just run into a problem with my Jabra Pro 30’s and the new update to Android 16. They appear to not get along very well at all. Right after the Android update the HA’s worked very well, just as before the update. However, just last week I noted that the HA’s no longer beeped when I changed “cards” in the app window. Then it became evident that the hearing aids were connecting fine and unfortunately the software no longer was able to interface with the HA’s. I completely uninstalled the HA’s from my Pixel 9, offloaded the Enhance Pro software and reinstalled everything. I went through the connection process many, many times over the course of an hour. After many WTF’s I abandoned the Enhance Pro app and downloaded the Resound 3D Pro app from the play store. The hearing aids and Resound software hooked up instantly, 1st try. I’m hoping that the folks who own the Enhance software (GN) are working diligently to fix their software The Resound software works, just not as well as the Enhance used to. There seems to be some L to R phasing issues with it right now. Maybe it’s just my hearing. Anyway, my .02 on the current issues between the Android update and the Enhance Pro app.

MIke which update did you get? The most recent I got was supposed to fix some Bluetooth issues. Details follow:
Android 16
Security Update: December 5, 2025
Build: BP4A.251205.006
It didn’t fix the ongoing BT connection problems with my Pixel 7 Pro & the EP 30s.
I am ready to unbox my new Pixel 8 pro. Bight might hold off until I get your response.
