So, With my Google Pixel 9 now in service and working beautifully, I decided to revisit the matter of my tinnitus. My previous phone, a Motorola 5G 2024, even though allegedly meeting all of the requirements, simply couldn’t produce the promised benefits and features. With the Pixel 9 I am now able to enjoy all of the features offered by the JABRA 30’s. With the SmartFit software I have been fine tuning the experience and decided to try the TSG feature. I am very cognizant of the differing opinions regarding the sound generators, both pro and con. My experience is that any kind of noise in my head that is NOT the insane whistle/buzzing noise is okay with me. At night I have lots of white noises around me that I can drift off to ZZZZZZZ land fairly quickly. During the day and evening, especially during quieter interludes, my tinnitus was extremely annoying and agitating. With the TSG program my brain now has a “different” noise to focus on and I am enjoying the relief from the other ringing noises in my head. I am going to explore the various sounds and volume levels offered by SmartFit programming so that I have a variety of sounds that are pleasing to my brain.
I thought that I would share my personal experience with the TSG feature. As always, YMMV.
Cheers and Thanks! Mike
